Michael F. Bucci Security Officer of the Year Award to Officer Jonathon Rodriguez

On February 1st, ASIS NNJ presented Officer Jonathon Rodriguez with the Michael F. Bucci Security Officer of the Year Award at Englewood Medical Center.
Officer Rodriguez was on patrol when he saw someone on the top deck of the parking garage. He approached the subject, who threatened to jump. Officer Rodriguez called for backup and reached the subject as they hung from the deck. Officer Rodriguez grabbed the subject and held them hanging from the deck until assistance arrived. Without a doubt, Office Rodriguez saved this person’s life.
Herb Simon, our Law Enforcement Awards Chair, presented the award.
